This lesson explores the functioning of a business and its various components, highlighting their significance. By comparing the human body, a vehicle, and a company, we demonstrate how each part contributes to a cohesive system. Any defect in a part hampers the overall performance. This lesson emphasizes the vital role of every employee, regardless of their position, as each brings unique value and is compensated accordingly.
Really Business 1 and 2
Our goal is to empower participants to recognize their potential, cultivate a serious entrepreneurial mindset, and view themselves as future entrepreneurs. We emphasize the significance of key elements such as planning, S.M.A.R.T. objectives, strategy, business opportunities, and more. Prior knowledge about the desired industry is crucial before embarking on a business venture...
The common misconception about company funds and employee compensation creates frustration. This lesson debunks this belief and promotes an understanding of win-win solutions.
Client
Cultivating respect for oneself and others requires conscious effort. Employees must handle frustrated customers calmly. They are taught to approach customers with compassion and empathy. Treating loved ones as diverse customers helps prepare for such encounters. Customers seek to feel valued beyond transactions, appreciating recognition for their true selves.
Interview
Participants receive instruction on the importance of CVs and how to prepare them. They learn strategies for enhancing their self-presentation during interviews. Emphasis is placed on proactive preparation and seizing opportunities. Familiarity with different interview formats and commonly asked questions is also covered.
2- Leadership
Good leadership is the cornerstone of any successful organization. It creates a culture of collaboration and innovation, sets clear expectations, and motivates employees to reach their highest potential. With strong leadership, organizations are able to achieve their goals and move forward in a positive direction.
Teamwork
Solid teams are the foundation of great achievements, working together to accomplish set objectives. We emphasize the benefits of teamwork over individual efforts, as it promotes success. A leader energizes and motivates the team, although understanding and communication challenges may arise. It is important for the leader to be empathetic, hardworking, and supportive of the group's well-being. Participants are encouraged to eliminate rivalry behavior that hinders group success. In the Haitian workplace, competition and threats can create an unhealthy environment. They learn not to fear the success of others and how to work toward their own success. Success breeds more success, benefiting those in close proximity. We stress the importance of collective investment, as strong teams are crucial for accomplishing significant goals.
Management
This lesson addresses the challenges in employee-boss collaboration, where both parties may feel underappreciated or ineffective. Such difficulties hinder harmonious work dynamics. Participants are encouraged to understand that relationships can be challenging due to personal upbringing and experiences. understanding and respect are essential for improving relationships. Participants learn not to take negative attitudes personally and to communicate their concerns at the right moment. The concept of "coaching up" is taught to guide bosses toward respectful behavior.
3- Personal Development
Personal development is the key to a successful life because it helps us identify our strengths, weaknesses, and areas of improvement. With improved self-awareness, we can make meaningful changes that lead to better physical and mental health, improved relationships and career success.
Responsibility
Responsibility and personal power are interconnected. Taking responsibility is challenging, but crucial. It empowers us to achieve our goals, make a positive impact, and flourish. Embracing responsibility leads to greater personal power and increased entrusted responsibilities.
Personal Power
This lesson empowers participants to question themselves and realize their ability to bring about change. We use illustrations to show the consequences of choices and behaviors. Consider the story of a chained elephant. People, too, forget their power and become slaves to others, blaming them for their mistakes. Yet, every person has the power to do good and change their own life. Chained minds hinder personal development as people believe lies. What hinders personal growth? When we recognize our power, we take action to change our lives and help others. We control our destiny and seek assistance when needed, rather than relying on others. Using this power for evil makes us victims of our own strength. Therefore, it is crucial to use it for good.
How To Grow
Personal growth requires sacrifices and self-reflection to identify weaknesses and transform them into strengths. It is the key to a better future, as we must improve ourselves for things to improve around us. Just as a seed needs nurturing to succeed, we must invest effort in our own development. Genuine leaders actively participate and inspire others.
